Institutional Review Committee (IRC) – NNJS
The Institutional Review Committee (IRC) of NNJS is an independent ethical body comprising eleven members from medical and non-medical backgrounds. Established in 2018 and approved by the Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC), IRC-NNJS reviews research proposals from affiliated researchers to ensure scientific validity and ethical compliance. It also facilitates and refers national or international studies—including externally funded research and clinical trials involving humans or animals—to NHRC’s Ethical Review Board (ERB) for approval when required.
