Thori Eye Hospital was established in April 25, 2015 under the aegis of Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh, Bharatpur Eye Hospital, Chtiwan. The hospital building was constructed with financial and technical support from Bharatpur Eye Hospital and SEVA Foundation.
The Hospital is located in southern part of Chitwan District and close to India Border adjoining with Bihar state of India. It is situated in Parsa District, Thori Rural Municipality ward no. 2 Gautam Nagar, State two. This area is covered by two national park Chitwan. Annually almost 6,000 out patients are examined and 400 to 500 patients are getting eye operated (surgeries) in this hospital.
